My first child was a wonderful sleeper, so I expected my second to be exactly the same. Well, I was sadly mistaken. He was an awful sleeper right from the get go. As soon as he was born, he would wake every 2 hours. For whatever reason. Either because he was hungry, or needed a diaper change. I expected sleepless nights when he was a newborn, but when this continued for the next year, I thought, well this just must be how he is going to be and sort of accepted it as a way of life. He would wake anywhere between 3-4 hours, every night like clock work. There would be the occasional night where he would sleep for 8 hours, but the next night he would go back to the same pattern of waking every 3-4 hours, if not every 2 hours. The only way we knew how to put him back to sleep was either by rocking him, or giving him a bottle (which is what happened most nights). He was a big boy and in no way needed to eat in the middle of the night. He was also a mouth breather so I thought maybe that was causing him to wake up in the middle of the night. I had enough of sleepless nights. I was tired everyday, and was loosing my patience with my children very easily. Christina came into my life, and changed everything around. And for the better. The plan she wrote up for us worked around our schedule. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She reassured me that we would be able to get my son on a routine that would not only benefit him, but would benefit my whole family. She was very honest and said the first little bit would be hard (for everyone including my 3 year old daughter), which I think is why I didn't sleep train earlier. I was anxious about the whole process. I was honestly very skeptical as I just assumed my son would always be a horrible sleeper, but after the 3rd night, my son was sleeping a full 12 hours. He now has great naps and great night time sleeps. His demeanor is more happy and he is hardly grumpy anymore because he is getting the restorative sleep he needs. I would definitely recommend Christina to anyone who is struggling. She has changed our lives. I don't think I could have done it without her"
"As a mom of four young children under the age of 7, including twins who sleep in the same room, establishing and maintaining a strong sleep schedule is key to our happy home. Christina provided me with tips and techniques to ensure a peaceful night sleep for our entire family. I was confident we were supporting everyone's sleep needs as she answered questions patiently and thoroughly. Christina is a great partner in the search for sleep. Christina offered successful guidance for my entire family, which was so needed and I didn't even know it! All my children started sleeping through the night and taking healthy wonderful restorative naps, including the older ones. This experience was transformative for me as I became a more confident, calm and happy mom. Working with Christina is one of the best decisions I have ever made, not only for myself but for all my children and my husband as well. The whole household is more relaxed, calm, and cooperative making the time we spend together even more enjoyable. I cannot thank Christina enough!"
"I was inundated with recommendations, techniques and routines to get my new baby to sleep from family and friends, often times conflicting. I wanted and needed advice from a professional, someone I could trust, and had experience with helping families and newborns develop healthy sleep habits. I came across Christina, her approach is re-assuring, her experience is impressive, and she took the time to understand our unique needs. Christina taught me how to observe sleep signs and within days of our initial consultation my newborn established a nap routine, I was able to get a break for myself, and most importantly I regained the confidence and structure I desperately needed to nurture my family. I feel more empowered as a mother and I thank Christina profusely for giving me the tools I needed for our happy, sleepy new family."
